This kind of portable detection device called "macg beam" has a "mountain" shape. When testing, passengers can simply scan their feet on the concave sides of the two sides. The device can scan the shoes within 10 centimeters above the ankle. Once the dangerous goods hidden in the shoes, weapons and accessories are found, the red indicator lights will shine and alarm; if there is no metal dangerous goods, the green indicator lights will shine.

In October this year, the Gurion International Airport in Israel achieved good results with the device.

At present, there are some airports in Czech, Poland and Spain and some government departments in Israel and Australia.
